Who I am

Hi! I’m Charlotte van Stratum, a 23-year-old photographer from The Hague, currently based in Delft. While pursuing a career in architecture, I’ve also built my own photography brand: BYCHARLOTVS.

My journey started when I got my very first camera from my parents. What began as a fun hobby quickly turned into a passion — and not long after, I invested in my own professional gear. Since then I’ve been capturing everything that inspires me; from people and movement to spaces and atmosphere.

What I do

From the energy of fashion weeks to the intensity of tennis matches — I capture stories in motion. My work spans fashion, sports (especially tennis), events, portraits, and parties. I love being right in the moment, catching real emotions, looks, and memorable atmospheres.

I’ve had the opportunity to work at London Fashion Week, Amsterdam Fashion Week, and Copenhagen Fashion Week, as well as various galas, dinners, and branding shoots. Whether it's a high-energy party or a quiet portrait session, I make sure the result feels honest and sharp.
